What we collect

When you submit a case review, we collect the information you give us: item details, problem description, purchase date, coverage information, and your contact details (name, email, optional phone). For abuse prevention we store a salted, non-reversible hash of your IP address — never the IP itself.

What we don't

We do not connect to your bank, email, or credit card accounts. We read only what you send us. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with marketers.

How we use it

Your information is used to review your case, prepare your claim package, and communicate with you. Nothing else.

Who processes it

We rely on a small set of service providers to run the site:

  • Stripe — processes the one-time $149 payment.
  • Resend — delivers the case-confirmation email to you and the intake notification to our team.
  • Render — hosts the application and database.

Retention

Identifying case information is removed 90 days after payment of the $149 fee. Aggregate, non-identifying metrics — item category, value band, outcome — may be retained for service-quality analysis. Server logs reference cases by their WCC-YYYY-XXXXXX code; email addresses and names are filtered out of the log stream before it's written.

Your rights and contact

You can request a copy of the information we hold on you, or ask for earlier deletion, by emailing hello@nilesdesk.com. We respond within 14 days. Material updates to this Policy will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
